CHPC ANNOUNCEMENT: Establishing quotas on /scratch/general/vast effective August 1, 2023

After both internal CHPC discussions and discussions with the CHPC User Advisory Council,
we have decided to establish a per user quota of 50TB on the /scratch/general/vast
file system. This will help to minimize the chances that this scratch file system
will fill, causing jobs to fail, as well as make the use of the space more equitable.
We will implement these quotas on August 1, 2023, but are announcing it now so that
users can look at their usage and take the time to get below this limit.
