CHPC DOWNTIME: Notchpeak cluster and frisco1, Tuesday May 25 starting at 8:00am

There will be a CHPC DOWNTIME on Tuesday May 25th starting at 8am.
This downtime will include all of the notchpeak cluster (interactive and compute nodes) as well as frisco1.chpc.utah.edu.
The downtime is to update the OS on the cluster to CentOS7.9. Along with this update
we will also do maintenance and updates on the notchpeak Infiniband switches.
There is a reservation in place to drain the notchpeak slurm batch queue of running
jobs by the start of the downtime. Any job that will not reach its wall time limit
before the start of the downtime will not be started until after the downtime has
been completed.
We expect that the notchpeak nodes will be unavailable for most of the day, returning to service mid to late afternoon. We will send out a note when the work has been completed.
