XSEDE Bridges Workshop
Date Posted: February 22, 2016
CHPC will be one of the few satellite sites for the first workshop introducing the new Bridges system at Pittsburgh Supercomputer Center.
Bridges is a unique resource providing capabilities for many areas of research by having extremely large shared memory (up to 12TB per node); virtual machines; GPU computing; Spark and Hadoop environments; interactivity; in-memory databases; rich data collections; and graph analytics capabilities.
This system is geared to non-traditional users that often don't have experience with HPC, nor have an account on campus research computing centers like CHPC, therefore we'd appreciate if you could spread the word about this workshop around your departments.
